The Continuing Saga of Patrick's Birthday!

I wrote about Patrick's birthday festivities here but there was one more present that arrived a little late--just what we need in the house right after Halloween--a GIANT basket of candy.

Look at this!
Of course, for an eleven year old boy, it's the best thing in the world!
Speaking of candy, we also received the delicious chocolate-covered cookie dough that I ordered from Susie's shop. I can't show you a pic of that though...because we ate it already. It was delicious!!

Was it a grandparent? My dad thought he was pretty funny when he would send something like that.

I looks so yummy...I could have fun with that basket.

No not a grandparent--I'm embarrassed to say I got it for him!

Oh man, love that basket! Especially since some of MY faves are in it! I could always fix my kids one with peanut M&Ms only, and then offer to help dispose of it!!

Happy belated birthday to Patrick! What 11 year old boy doesn't want tons of candy? When my daughter and nephews were young, I always bought them the coolest, slimiest, multi-pieced toys I could get them because I was tired of only buying Barbies and My Little Ponies!

Jen said...

That is a really cool gift. And you are so right, stuff from Susie shop is AWESOME!!!

So, of course, my question is: How long do you bake chocolate covered cookie dough in the oven? Do you line the sheet? What do you do with the chocolate goo that melts off, leaving a mess on the baking sheet?

I'm glad I read the comments before I asked what blockhead, um, I mean, kind, sweet, thoughtful person, gave him all the candy. Otherwise, it might have been embarrassing. lol!

If they had included some electronic light flashing, nosie making, projectile shooting toy with the basket it would have been the perfect, sadisitic, "it's not my child" gift! :)

Ummmm...do I see Fun Dip and Pop Rocks in that basket???? Nice!
