Thinking of Spring...

First of all--thank you so much to everyone that said such comforting words about the passing of my father-in-law. I really appreciate it!

It is still feeling very much like winter here--the temperatures were in the teens when I woke up this morning--so for this week's installment of Candid Carrie's Foto Phiesta, I am looking back at some pics I took of Pickle and Gooser in the yard last Spring...It won't be too much longer until I see the flowers and grass again!!

LOVE Gooser and the donkey especially with the "gun"!! Sorry to hear about your father-in-law.
I too hate Alzheimers. Glad you and the kids have such good memories!

Jen, I am so sorry to hear about Don's dad. I will keep your family in my thoughts.

I'm just catching up. So sorry to hear about your loss.

I love the analogy that lies behind these pictures. Grieving really is like winter. Spring arrives. It doesn't remove the fact that we have to walk through winter, but there is always hope.

Peace to you and yours,
Heather

Listen Miss Artsy full of good ideas girl...
We have that SAME donkey but the stuff has all crumbled off his ear and left just a stick of metal.
How can I fix it.
I'll send you a picture if you think you can help.

As usual, I love the photos :)
