My friend, Becky, from In The Trenches tagged me. I was to go to my sixth picture file and post the sixth picture. This is what I got:
Guess who that ghoul with the long black hair is? My husband! "What is this scene?" you ask. Why, it's my dining room last Halloween!
KIDDING! I'm kidding! Actually, it was something Don and I designed last year as part of our son, Andy's, 8th grade Halloween party.
Our school goes all-out for the kids in their 8th grade year and part of the festivities is setting up a scary Halloween house where the kids are escorted by demons through different frightening rooms.
We decided to do a scary banquet with Don disguised as a macabre host and a banquet table spread with horrors. Teddy was his "Guest of Honor" and was lying on the table as Don "cut him open" and "removed his intestines." Gruesome, I know--but it was all for the kids!
Since I'm om the subject and it's almost Halloween--I might as well you show you some more pics of our gory affair!
Here is Teddy on the table getting his intestines removed. Tip: to make fake intestines, stuff "pantyhose" (does anyone say that anymore?) with old rags and soak it in fake blood from the Halloween store! Teddy screamed to perfection!
A close-up of some of the banquet treats. I was especially proud of the doll body with rat head sitting on the old chandelier!
I went to the fish store and got some whole fish and also some octopus for the table. Note the bottle of eyeballs!
And I made a couple of brain Jell-Os!!
I was also very proud of what I did with these old baby dolls. I duct-taped them to the wall with various weird props.
This one had a bottle of "blood" taped to the wall next to it! LOL!
Brain with hair! Here's Teddy in character and Patrick as the scary wolf. He was hiding under the table and would come screeching out when the children entered the room!
I call this picture "Three Creeps." Can you believe that's my husband?? Oh, and I did the makeup! I think I missed my calling as a Hollywood horror movie makeup person!
Thanks for the tag Becky! You opened a whole can of worms with that one! I'm issuing a free-for -all tag! Consider yourself tagged if you want to be!

Wow! You should open your doors to the public & charge money to get in. That is great!
I'll second that...you could have a side business...scaring the bejesus out of people!
I am impressed!
Ok, those were gruesome!!!! Great job!!!
I agree with Missy, you could make money with that for a haunted house. As a child, I'd have screamed and ran!
Man that was sume scary gruesome stuff there. But I enjoyed it none the less.
I would love to come to your house for Halloween! One of these years I just might do it :)
Oh I love it! I would pay good money to come to your haunted house!
Those are so awesome!! You are just the most creative person! Those duck-taped baby dolls are super creepy.
OMG, are you serious? They let you do that at school? Crazy, or did I read the post wrong?
Oh no Kori--you read that right! The school is crazy like that! And ours was just one of many over-the-top rooms. There was an insane operating room, a Hannibal Lecter type prisoner room, a killer clown w/ an axe...It's was nuts!
this is awesome!! beyond awesome!! I want to be your neighbor!
The doll with the rat's head ...so funny! Just like those misfit toys in Toy Story!
And I thought the baby bottle of blood was a nice touch!
THANKS much for the birthday wishes! I WAS a cute little bugger, wasn't I?
"EEEEKKK....!!! Mommy I'm scared!!!"
Truly scary dear... I might have nightmares tonight...hee*

This was amazing! You went totally out. I kind of love you more. The scariest thing in those photos? The doll head on the table.
Very, very awesomely cool !!!
You, Missus, have a really evil imagination :-)
hilarious- I just watched some Halloween special on the travel channel last night about the spookiest haunted houses in the nation!
You did a fantastic job! Happy Halloween.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
That's awesome! I have to show my husband these.
You could make some good money running your own haunted house or setting up parties for others.
