My Day In Haiku

The day started out
On such a promising note
Quickly went downhill

My two year old won't
Allow me to take shower
Crying all the time

Pool water is green
After thousands of dollars
No one knows what's wrong

Running an errand
Car begins to billow smoke
A tow truck is called

Waiting to be towed
With five irritable kids
In sweltering heat

Car is in the shop
Maybe the serpentine belt?
Maybe something worse

Dog is acting sick
But cannot take to vet now
As we have no wheels

Highlight of the day:
Don made peach margaritas
At least that's something!

edited this morning to add:

My coffee maker
Has appeared to stop working
Please just kill me now

Ugh! Sorry about the bad luck. I can see where peach margaritas would help!

Oh no! I'm sorry but yeah for each margaritas. Our pool turned green last summer while we were on a ten day vacation even though the chlorine levels were fine. It was a combo of the heat and not brushing it during those days and a chlorine resistant algae. The only solution was draining it and filling it back up. It took 3 days to drain and 3 days to refill. And Miss Pickle...take her in the shower with you!

Um, this is FABULOUS! Not all the woes, but chick, you got mad haiku skills!

Everything pretty much stinks there, but when I got down to the coffee maker? Le sigh, I would totally off myself.

Oh Em Geee! You have no wheels to go to Starbucks!!! somebody, bring this lady coffee, stat!
