Artsy Snow

We had our first significant snow of the season yesterday so I headed out with my tripod to and get some artsy pics of the snow and lights around our house. Not too exciting, but kind of pretty!
Good news on the vermin front--it seems we are are not trapping any more, so maybe the problem has been solved (fingers crossed!). And here's one last pic of Mousie posing by the tree right before Don released him.

Great pics!
I wonder if your mousy is off telling stories about having lived in the lap of luxury in your house! : )

I think you could do a great children's book on the mouse story!
Love you lights and the pictures...I love snow in pictures in faraway places...and me in shorts and flipflops(although my choice of shoe maybe a thing of the past) at home!

Really pretty pictures

Also, head on over to my blog today as I have mentioned you in it (you'll see what I mean when you get there). I promise, it's a good thing!

The lights look amazing with the snow! We didn't put up any outdoor lights. And we haven't had any snow. Sigh. Maybe next year when Sophie is a little more aware of the holiday, we'll be more festive.

Snow AND Christmas lights!! Does it get any better then that!! I hoped you released Mouse when the lights were on so he could see his way back home! And Yes, we do 2 trees and when the basement gets it's remodel finished, a 3rd tree will go down there!!

So Pretty. Except the mouse...

I could definately handle that amount of snow. I am however having trouble with the amount I have...

Pretty lights and snow! What a cute little mouse...agree with Ronda, you can write and illustrate a story about your mousey adventures :0)

I've never seen such a dark mouse... wonder where he's at now? Wishing he was back in a warm house eatting cheese crackers, I bet!

And look at all your lights! I bet your house glows at night!

Jeebus you've got lots and lots of lights!

Ya know, before I saw your pics I have never liked coloured lights. Always been a white light kind of girl. But I didn't realize how great they look with the snow...and well living in Maine, we have lots of snow this time of year! *lol*

Next year me thinks we'll be puttin' up some coloured lights.

Great pics!

And I still think your mouse will be back. Just wait.

Mousie: What on earth is happening to me?!?

The lights around your house are gorgeous. I am hopelessly behind ... all I have done is hang a wreath on the front door.

That mouse picture scares me! And the lights are great.

Ok, why do you insist on scaring me and making me cry? LOL

Those pix are so pretty! What kind of camera do you have? I am shopping for a new one that will take awesome pix!
