I don't really have a cohesive post planned--just lots of weird little tidbits today!
1. My hair has been freshly re-pinked! I did it myself! Here's a pic Andy took of me and Pickle tonight:
2. The no t.v. thing has been going great! I think tonight was night four and I am getting so much more done. That painting I mentioned before (Beautiful Fungus) is coming along--though I'm not super thrilled with it. I'll see it through to the end though and if it doesn't work out it's no big deal. This is a weird element for a sculpture I'm working out:
Looks kind of creepy-cool, doesn't it?
3. I started my oil painting class tonight. I'm excited because I've really only worked in watercolor until now. Tonight we just did some charcoal drawings and it was really fun! I like the teacher--I think I'm going to learn a lot from him. One funny thing though--remember Psycho Lady? She's in this class too!! Hopefully I'll get some good blogging stories out of her--let's just hope she doesn't go "postal" on the class!
4. Since I started no no t.v./more art projects, it's been rubbing off on the kids. Teddy spent the night before last drawing with me and Gooser has been doing all kinds of artstuffs. He made this cool mask out of a box:
Each side has a different face on it--he's so creative!
5. My friend Dawn from Bee and Rose has a great blog and she is having an amazing giveaway right now to celebrate her 100th post. You must check it out! But stay away from the devil silhouettes--they're MINE!!

That sculpture is way cool! I did a random post today also.
I love your randomness! :) You look awesome and tell Gooser I'm really digging his box mask! Creative like his mommy!
I gave up most of my TV to start reading more and I couldn't be happier!
I never realized how much time I spent in front of the TV until I stopped...so much time to do really fun things....like blog! :)
I can't wait to see your painting!
The hair looks awesome! That melted baby? A little creepy, but definitely cool. Not surprising your kids are so creative, given their mama! :)
I can see the no TV thing is a great idea.
I love your pink hair!!!!
That sculpture piece is very cool!
Our kids would get along famously...my daugther loves to wear boxes on her head!
Thank you so much for the linky love!!!! You are awesome!
am loving your pink hair... it matches Pickle so good with her pink shirt on!!! And I see the eyeball ring... ;o)
Keep going with the no tv... the creative side is going to just keep flowing!!!
You did a very good job with the hair. Very pink!
The sculpture resembles the old fashion baby dolls from like the fifty's...very creepy in a cool way. Looks like it could say "Mama" at any minute..LOL!
The melty baby is scary-cool. I can't wait to see what else it goes with!
I love it when we do the no electronics thing around here. It is true how that extra time just gets the creative juices flowing. I can't wait to see some of your paintings.
Love the hair!! The no TV thing would scare the dickens out of me:-)
Wow! Lots of good stuff here! I think it's great how no tv brings out so much creativity!
I am a tv addict but lately, I have cut down. I actually finished a book and have started another one! Whoo-hoo!
Right, the Devil Silhouettes. Those are so fun. (I hope you win those!)
