Pickle's Dress

I was looking through my (extremely disorganized)picture files to find something for Candid Carrie's Phriday Foto Phiesta and I came across some of Pickle from a few months ago:

What truck me about these is that she's wearing the very first dress I ever bought her--when she was still in utero!

When I found out I was having a girl (after four boys) I tried to control myself at first and not go crazy with the girl clothes, but one day when I was at Nordstrom, they had just put out all the beautiful spring dresses and I couldn't help myself!

This dress seemed so perfect and girly--and I bought it in a size 24 month even though she hadn't been born.
But now here she is wearing it--so crazy how time flies!!

Happy Friday!!

Good call on the dress. It's gorgeous, and she wears it so well. I can totally relate, too. I've been looking at frilly dresses and sparkly shoes for years, just waiting for a little girl to buy them for. It's so fun, isn't it?

What a beautiful dress for a beautiful little girl!

Yeah, its exciting buying clothes for any baby....I know I loved doing that when I was preggers with Z.....but it is different buying those little dresses. I had to get that out of my system with my niece and her 2 girls....

I had 4 boys an 9 years later a girl... My Mama told me she ALWAYS looked like she was ready to go to church...she was ALWAYS dressed up!
Now is a different story. We don't even have the same taste. Enjoy it while you can! :)

Three things disturb me about these photos:

1. Pickle is posing...
2. Pickle doesn't have bacon...
3. Pickle doesn't have any tears...

Way to go Pickle!

So precious!! And isn't that the best part of having a little girl-especially if they are girly girls. My granddaughter will not wear anything but "gresses" (she's three) so I have tons of fun buying her clothes. I would have been heartbroken is she was a tomboy....

The boys clothes are cute, but I wanted to dress up a little girl SO bad. Looking at these pictures of Pickle brought all that back!

This is beautiful. So girly!! Just precious.

I'll tell you a secret but don't tell anyone else, okay. I don't have any children, yet (not even pregnant) but I already know how I am going to decorate my nursery (boy or girl) and made my first purchase for the 'one day' baby in Colombia! Haha! I'm a little crazy!

I can relate! And how!

When I found out the Little Imp was a girl, and I knew she'd be my last child...I kinda went nuts shopping for her.

We are STILL - and she just turned three - going through all those clothes from that shopping spree alone.

Pickle's dress is simply gorgeous and the photos are wonderful!

I'm on my third pregnancy, and every time I get pregnant I always end up buying a fluffy, sparkly, tulle-filled dress. Then I find out I'm having a boy and one of my friends gets a fluffy, sparkly, tulle-filled dress for their baby girl. It's still fun!
