House

I thought since I am completely immersed in house-selling, I would show a few pics of my house (which hopefully won't be mine much longer because it will sell right away--right!?!).

They sent a photographer over the other day and these were the pics he took:

This is part of the living room and dining room:
"Sun room":

Family room:
Master bedroom (I like pink, okay!?):

Please wish us luck! Our first showing is today (Friday) and then we have the weekend-long open house.

My friend bought me this "house selling" kit which is a statue of St. Joseph that you are supposed to bury in the yard and then recite a couple of prayers--we will be having the ceremony in the morning!

Please join my friend Candid Carrie and check out all the crazy Phriday Foto Phun!!

Huge good luck wishes coming your way. I hope you sell that house faster than you can say "Sold."

Good Luck, Jen!! Hopefully, it will sell with your first showing/ open house weekend! {crossing fingers}

Definitely bury the statue. I hear it works. =)

Good Luck! We did the St. Joseph thing, but we didn't bury him, just put him in a prominent place in the house and prayed the prayer each day. We sold within a month!

House is gorgeous!

Well how much I'm moving in! It's beautiful Jen!

I have St. Joseph too...my house sold and then fell out of escrow...maybe I wasn't supposed to bury him upside down.

My mom always buried St. Joseph. LOL. Your friend must be Catholic;)

Oh. My. GOODNESS.

*I* would totally buy your house (assuming it were within a 10 minute drive of Hubby's office, that is).

Even after all of our decluttering and painting and general sprucing up, my house's pictures will look NOTHING like your fantabulous domicile. *sigh*

I hope that by the time you read this comment, you are busily pitting competing and ever-higher offers against each other.... :D

Jennifer, its beautiful. Its all sparkly and clean too. I've heard about that whole burying the statue in the yard thing...I've heard it works. Hopefully it will for you. I know how hard it must be to keep the house "show ready" with 5 kids. Good luck to you!
