Coloring

It seems that we've been doing a lot of coloring and drawing around here lately. I think it's nice that in this world of video games and computers, so much fun can be had by just breaking out some paper and a box of cheapo crayons.

Here's Gooser doing some Batman-themed drawings:

I think that's the "Bat signal."

Here's Batman doing a self-portrait!

I like this one of Pickle concentrating on her picture:
And here she is coloring in her moon goggles!

I have been doing a lot of drawing too. I have always loved drawing animals so I'm filling up one of my sketchbooks with pencils drawings of all different kinds of animals--it's great practice!

The cool thing is that Teddy saw the drawings and he wanted to do some too--so he is doing his own sketchbook of animals. And he's really good!! I told him that if he keeps practicing, he's going to be an amazing artist. Plus it makes me so happy that he's doing that instead of playing "Runescape"!!

My house is always covered in crayons:-) It's so good for your mind to just sit down and create something. I would love to see your work and Teddy's:-)

My house seems like it is wall papered with with Ashlyn's creations. She is really in to writting and illustrating books. They are pretty good for a six year old.

Where are your pictures of your animal drawings? I'd love to see them! Adorable pictures of your children ~ I used to love coloring with crayons when I was young.

We've been doing the same thing, but we're outside coloring with chalk. It's so much fun.

Of course, I'm not sure who does more drawings, me or Roo?

Those are great pictures! I love to see kids doing kid stuff that doesn't revolve around the TV. I've been thinking about getting some finger paints for Kaylee (she's 10 months) and just letting her go nuts on a piece of paper. Your kids are just so cute. I love the batman drawing himself.

I love coloring too and I love when the kids sit down and create something special. The worst thing is that it's so hard to throw anything away!

Art supplies are a big hit at my house, too. In fact, M got an easel for Christmas and I think it just might be her favorite gift she received!

Coloring is the best! I bought some beginner markers for Sophie but so far she isn't really interested in using them to draw, instead they're more of a projectile. Soon, I think.

We're big colorers (sp) here too...and PlayDoh and finger paints watered down jell-o gelatin and puddings.

I however couldn't draw a stick person to save my life. Hopefully the Little Imp will have gotten a creativity gene from her daddy!
