On our first full day of tropical fun we knew we were in for a good day when we woke up to this beatiful view:
The funny thing is that every time I step out on to the balcony to take pictures, the heat hits like a wall and my camera lens immediately steams up--so I'm lucky I got a decent one!
You can tell in this pic of Pickle dancing out there that the lens was all steamy.
Here's Gooser lounging in his jammies:
And Pickle relaxing:
Before we headed out for the day, Gooser and Pickle took a Teddy Graham break and watched Spongebob.
But Pickle was antsy to go--carrying around her pack of swim diapers and life jacket!
On the way to breakfast we spotted one of the zillions of beautiful iguanas that inhabit on this island.
We had a delicious buffet-style breakfast...
...which means all the bacon you can eat for Pickle!
Then it was time to hit the beach! Could Gooser look more like a toutist!? The towel guy thought his Batman hat was "fresh"!
Pickle couldn't into the water fast enough!
After some nice ocean swimmimg we hit the pool(s) for awhile--which includes a nice baby pool for the little ones:
And we had some drinks poolside:
I wish I could capture the color of the water here in a picture--but I'm not doing it justice. It alternates between turquoise and sapphire blue--just amazing!!
We were super lucky and saw the most beautiful rainbow--again not doing it justice, especially because the lens was steamed up again.
Later we stopped to have some drinks with friends and then off to another nice dinner. The boys with there virgin pina coladas again:
Poor Pickle couldn't make it until the food came and conked for the rest of the night:
I pretty much felt the same way!
